Itinerary

Day 1: Perth to Wave Rock

Stop At: Perth Hills, Perth Hills, Greater Perth, Western Australia
Perth Hills are very photogenic and offer us the opportunity to photograph old shacks that were used by farmers in a bygone era and the falls which are frequented by locals and tourists alike.
We will also have morning tea here before continuing our journey further East.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: York, York, Avon Valley, Western Australia
York is the oldest inland town in Western Australia and offers great opportunities to photograph very traditional Australian architecture. There is also a river running through the town that is home to many different species of birds.
We will have a picnic lunch here.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Hyden, Hyden, Western Australia
We will make a quick stop here to look at local art installations that are very creative.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Wave Rock, Hyden, Western Australia 6359 Australia
This is our final destination for the day and where we will stay overnight. We will have the opportunity to explore the area before dinner and then return to the rock at night for night time photography and light painting.

Duration: 12 hours

Meals included:
• Lunch: A picnic lunch
• Dinner: A home made meal
Accommodation included: Overnight at the Wave rock resort

Day 2: Wave rock

Stop At: Wave Rock, Hyden, Western Australia 6359 Australia
This morning we will return to wave rock at the ideal time to photograph this wonder.
We will then explore the foot of the rock which is a great location for orchids and wildflowers a lot of which are endemic to this area.
After lunch we will explore the area further including Mulgas Cave, Hippo Yawn and some photogenic artifacts.
Duration: 8 hours

Stop At: Wave Rock, Hyden, Western Australia 6359 Australia
We will head up the rock for sunset. The view from on the top is amazing and offers excellent opportunities for photographing the sunset.
After sunset we will head back to our accommodation for dinner.
Duration: 2 hours

Meals included:
• Breakfast: A continental breakfast
• Lunch: A picnic lunch
• Dinner: A home cooked dinner or BBQ
Accommodation included: Over night at Wave Rock resort

Day 3: Wave Rock to Perth

Stop At: Lake Magic, Hyden, Western Australia 6359 Australia
We will rise early on day 3 to head to Lake Magic which often offers great reflections and colours and sunrise.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Tin Horse Highway, Lake Grace Road, Kulin, Western Australia Australia
After breakfast we will head towards the Tin Horse Highway, a quirky Aussie humor road created by local farmers.
2 hours , Admission is free
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Buckley's Breakaway, Pingaring Pederah Road, Hyden, Western Australia 6357 Australia
This is a great location for wildflowers. We will spend some time exploring the area and photographing the flowers.
Duration: 2 hours

Meals included:
• Breakfast: Continental Breakfast
• Lunch: A picnic lunch
